Havas Media Network (HMN) announced today it is adding new roles to advance the organization’s business transformation and M&A agenda, along with heightening its focus on diversified services, tech-enablement, and automation. New leadership is also being appointed in North America as part of these changes.

Given the success of diversified services and their meaningful impact on clients, Global Chief Operating Officer Jorge Irizar will be more keenly focused on supercharging global growth for HMN’s specialty offerings – CSA (data & tech), Havas Market (eCommerce) and Havas Play (activation) – across 70+ markets. He will also continue to lead Converged, the network’s world-class tech stack, which guides audience insights and activation at a global scale.

Greg Walsh is appointed to the newly created role of Global Chief Business Transformation Officer. He will drive operational excellence across the organization, oversee global investments, strategic partnerships, advertising operations and focus on future-forward business transformation initiatives, including M&A. Walsh most recently served as CEO, HMN North America.

“We are having great success helping our clients unlock growth through data, tech, commerce and activation, while also evolving our business through strategic transformation and M&A,” said Peter Mears, Global CEO, HMN and Chairman of Havas’ North America Village. “These roles enable our continued evolution and deepen our commitment to being a partner who is agile, tech-enabled and aligned to the modern consumer journey.”

Succeeding Walsh as CEO of HMN North America is Greg James, a Havas executive with global experience having worked in both the US and the UK. He most recently led the global client experience team, focusing on future-forward growth initiatives and clients. He will be responsible for spearheading North America’s growth strategy with a focus on enhancing the client experience, advancing the agency’s data-led product, and cultivating a best-in-class talent experience.

“Greg has grown some of our largest clients by delivering exceptional strategic insight and value. These attributes, coupled with his passion for developing talent will undoubtedly advance our growth ambitions in North America. I’m energized by the collective set of leadership appointments and congratulate Jorge, Greg W and Greg J on their new roles.  It’s a great next step in our evolution and positions us for continued transformation and growth in 2024 and beyond,” Mears concluded.
