Irizar will lead the next phase of Spain’s transformation with a strategic focus on cultivating a client-centric culture, driving automation and operational excellence, and growing HMN Spain’s capabilities in eCommerce, data & analytics, and activation.

“Havas has a rich legacy in Spain and the market is ripe with opportunity and critically important to the future growth of our clients, people, and network,” said Peter Mears, Global Chief Executive Officer, HMN. “Jorge’s knowledge of the Spanish market, deep expertise in diversified services and transformation-minded approach make him an ideal leader to champion HMN Spain’s future evolution.”

Irizar has been instrumental in optimizing the media network’s global product offerings and digital capabilities, ensuring data and technology deliver the most meaningful outcomes for clients. He also brings a depth of expertise in client growth, commercial strategy, partnerships, investments, and advertising operations. Irizar will maintain his position as HMN’s Global Chief Operating Officer.

“We’re excited to welcome Jorge to the Havas Spain Village,” said Alfonso Rodes, President of Havas Spain and Chairman of the Havas Spain Village. “He will bring to bear his global connections, resources, and insights to benefit our talent and clients across the market, unlocking new sources of growth and connectivity.”

“To meet the needs of today’s complex consumer, clients need an agency partner able to deliver holistic end-to-end consumer journeys at scale,” said Irizar. “Leveraging data & tech and our evolving capabilities, Spain is uniquely positioned to seize the opportunity — unlocking growth for our clients, creating meaningful experiences for our talent and leading the industry with an innovative and agile approach.”

Irizar succeeds Ester Garcia Cosin who is leaving Havas to pursue other opportunities.
